section 1: legal notice

WithU Health provides healthcare coordination and support services for international clients, expats, medical travelers, athletes, teams, companies, and organized groups in China. Our services may include hospital appointment coordination, medical interpretation support, hospital accompaniment, medical travel planning, TCM and recovery coordination, health check coordination, and practical local support.

The information on this website is provided for general informational purposes only. It should not be treated as medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendation, emergency instruction, legal advice, insurance advice, or a guarantee of medical results.

section 2: medical disclaimer

WithU Health does not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, medical prescriptions, emergency medical services, or clinical decision-making. All medical advice, diagnosis, treatment plans, prescriptions, procedures, and clinical decisions are provided by licensed healthcare professionals or medical institutions.

We may help clients communicate with hospitals, clinics, TCM practitioners, rehabilitation providers, or other service providers, but we do not control or guarantee their medical opinions, availability, pricing, treatment outcomes, or service quality.

If you have a medical emergency, contact local emergency services or go directly to the nearest emergency department.

Optional Emergency Line Note

In mainland China, emergency medical assistance may be reached by calling 120.

section 3: scope of services

1: Healthcare Coordination

We may assist with hospital selection guidance, department navigation, appointment coordination, registration guidance, communication support, and follow-up arrangements.

2: Medical Travel Support

We may help international clients understand possible care routes, prepare for medical visits, coordinate appointments, arrange interpretation support, and manage practical travel-related details.

3: TCM & Recovery Coordination

We may help arrange TCM consultation, acupuncture, cupping, tuina, wellness experiences, rehabilitation-related coordination, and recovery planning support where appropriate.

4: Corporate & Group Support

We may support companies, sports teams, business travelers, travel groups, and organized visitors with healthcare coordination, health checks, urgent situation coordination, and group communication support.

Important Clarification

Our services are coordination and support services only. We do not replace licensed healthcare providers, hospitals, clinics, emergency services, insurers, or legal advisors.

section 4: privacy policy

We collect and use personal information only where it is necessary to respond to inquiries, provide services, coordinate appointments, communicate with clients, arrange support, improve our website, or comply with applicable legal obligations.

Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Nationality or country of residence
  • Travel dates and city in China
  • Service needs
  • Medical concerns shared by you
  • Medical documents or reports you choose to provide
  • Company or organization information
  • Payment and billing information
  • Website usage information such as cookies, analytics, or device data

Short Compliance Note

Where applicable, we handle personal information in accordance with relevant data protection laws, including China’s Personal Information Protection Law and other applicable privacy rules depending on the user’s location.

section 5: sensitive health information

Some information you provide may include health-related information, medical history, symptoms, medical reports, treatment preferences, recovery goals, or other sensitive personal information. We only ask for information that is relevant to understanding your request and coordinating appropriate support.

By submitting health-related information to WithU Health, you confirm that the information is provided voluntarily and that you authorize us to use it for the purpose of understanding your request, coordinating support, communicating with relevant service providers when necessary, and providing the services you request.

We recommend that you do not send unnecessary medical details through public forms or unsecured channels. When detailed medical records are needed, we may guide you on a more appropriate way to share them.

This section is important because PIPL treats sensitive personal information differently and requires separate consent for handling it.

section 6: how we use information

We may use your information to:

  • Respond to your inquiry
  • Understand your service needs
  • Communicate with you before, during, and after service
  • Coordinate appointments and support services
  • Help arrange interpretation, accompaniment, travel support, or recovery coordination
  • Communicate with hospitals, clinics, TCM providers, rehabilitation providers, or other service providers when necessary
  • Provide corporate or group support
  • Process payments and service records
  • Improve website performance and user experience
  • Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, or safety obligations

section 7: sharing information with third parties

To provide our services, we may need to share relevant information with hospitals, clinics, medical professionals, TCM practitioners, rehabilitation providers, translators, transport providers, hotels, travel coordinators, payment processors, or other service providers involved in your requested support.

We only share information that is reasonably necessary for the service being coordinated. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

Third-party providers are responsible for their own services, professional decisions, privacy practices, pricing, and terms.

section 8: international clients & cross-border communication

WithU Health may communicate with clients, companies, and service providers across different countries or regions. If you contact us from outside China, your information may be transmitted through international communication tools such as email, messaging apps, website forms, or cloud-based systems.

By contacting us and submitting information, you understand that your information may be processed or accessed in the locations where WithU Health, its team members, or relevant service providers operate, subject to applicable laws and necessary safeguards.

For cross-border data, this should be lawyer-reviewed if you expect to handle substantial personal or medical information from overseas clients.

section 9: cookies & website analytics

Our website may use cookies, analytics tools, pixels, or similar technologies to understand website traffic, improve user experience, support website security, and measure marketing performance.

You may manage cookie settings through your browser. Some website functions may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

If you advertise to EU/UK users, you may need a proper cookie consent banner and a more detailed cookie policy.

section 10: payments, cancellations & refunds

Service fees, payment methods, cancellation terms, refund conditions, and any third-party costs will be communicated before service confirmation whenever possible.

Third-party fees, such as hospital fees, clinic fees, practitioner fees, hotel costs, transport costs, translation costs, or travel-related costs, may be charged separately and are subject to the policies of the relevant third-party provider.

If a client cancels or changes a service after arrangements have already been made, cancellation fees or non-refundable third-party costs may apply.

section 11: third-party services

WithU Health may help coordinate access to hospitals, clinics, TCM practitioners, rehabilitation providers, transport providers, hotels, travel partners, translators, or other third-party services. These providers are independent from WithU Health unless explicitly stated otherwise.

We do not guarantee the availability, medical opinion, treatment result, pricing, schedule, service quality, or outcome of any third-party provider.

section 12: reviews, testimonials & marketing

Client reviews, testimonials, case examples, or service stories shown on our website or social media are for informational purposes only. Individual experiences may vary and should not be understood as a guarantee of medical results, recovery outcomes, or service availability.

We do not publish identifiable medical information without permission.

This is important because health-related claims in advertising should be truthful, not misleading, and supported by appropriate evidence. The FTC’s health product compliance guidance states that claims about health-related benefits and safety should be truthful, not misleading, and scientifically supported; while WithU Health is a service business rather than a health product seller, the same caution is useful for avoiding overclaims in marketing

section 13: website use terms

You agree not to misuse this website, attempt to interfere with its security, submit false or misleading information, copy website content without permission, or use the website for unlawful purposes.

All website content, including text, graphics, logos, layouts, images, icons, and service descriptions, is owned by or licensed to WithU Health unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

section 14: limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, WithU Health is not liable for medical decisions, diagnosis, treatment outcomes, emergency outcomes, third-party provider actions, travel disruptions, visa issues, hospital availability, delays, pricing changes, or events outside our reasonable control.

Our responsibility is limited to providing reasonable coordination and support services based on the information available to us and the scope of service agreed with the client.

section 15: changes to this page

We may update this Legal & Privacy Information page from time to time to reflect changes in our services, website functions, legal requirements, or business operations. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
