Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions About Healthcare Support in China

What does WithU Health help with?

WithU Health helps international clients arrange healthcare-related support in China.

This may include hospital visits, medical check-ups, TCM recovery experiences, medical travel planning, language support, on-site accompaniment, and follow-up organization.

Our goal is simple: help you understand where to go, what to prepare, how the process works, and what to do next.

I’m not sure where to start. What should I do?

tart by telling us your situation.

You can share your city, timing, main concern, language needs, and whether you are looking for a hospital visit, check-up, TCM experience, recovery support, or medical travel planning.

From there, we help you understand the most suitable next step and what kind of support may be useful.

What is the Care Pathway Plan?

The Care Pathway Plan is a starting point for clients who need a clearer direction before arranging a visit.

It helps you understand the possible route, what to prepare, what questions to ask, and what type of support may fit your situation.

It is useful if you feel unsure, overwhelmed, or simply want a clearer plan before moving forward.

Which hospitals or clinics can you help me access?

We help you find a suitable healthcare route based on your city, needs, language preference, timing, and budget.

This may include public hospitals, private clinics, international departments, medical check-up centers, TCM clinics, rehabilitation centers, or recovery-related services in major cities such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, and other key locations.

We do more than point you to a hospital name. We help you understand which type of service fits your situation and what to prepare before the visit.

What if I don’t speak Chinese?

We can support English/Others-Chinese communication during the service process.

This may include helping explain your situation, supporting registration, helping you understand key instructions, and organizing follow-up information.

The purpose is to make the process easier to follow, so you are not left guessing what is happening or what comes next.

What happens after the visit?

After the visit, we can help organize the next steps.

This may include reports, prescriptions, receipts, medicine instructions, follow-up reminders, and notes from the visit.

If another appointment, check-up, TCM session, or recovery-related visit is needed, we can help you understand and arrange the next step.

Can I use my existing health insurance, and how do costs work?

Many clients use their own international or private health insurance when receiving care in China.

We can help you organize useful documents after the visit, such as invoices, reports, prescriptions, payment records, and visit notes, so it is easier for you to communicate with your insurance provider.

Before the visit, we can also help you prepare the right questions to ask your insurer, such as coverage area, direct billing, claim requirements, and document format.

Our service fee is separate from hospital, doctor, medicine, test, travel, or insurance costs.

What happens if my plan changes after I arrive?

Plans can change, especially when healthcare, travel, timing, and recovery needs are involved.

If your schedule, city, appointment, service type, or follow-up plan changes, we help adjust the route and keep the next step clear.

For example, we may help update the appointment plan, reorganize the visit schedule, adjust the city route, add follow-up support, or help you understand what needs to happen next.

You are not locked into a route that no longer fits your situation. We stay with the process and help you move forward with a clearer plan.

What if I am not satisfied with the support I receive?

Your experience matters to us.

If something does not feel clear, comfortable, or well handled during the service process, tell us as soon as possible. We will review the situation, explain the next step, and work with you to improve the arrangement.

If your support path needs to be adjusted, we can help look at other suitable options, update the plan, and continue guiding you through the next step.

Our goal is simple: you should feel informed, supported, and not left to figure everything out alone.
